Plugging away at my FLS! My original goal was to have this done by March 1st, which means I have less than 2 weeks to finish it! EEK!!!
I should be further but I had a MAJOR setback. I was about this far and then realized the pattern was off. So I ripped out until I thought I found the mistake and started again. About an inch later, I realized I had not ripped back far enough. So I ripped AGAIN! Started back up and all was looking well, until I realized I lost a stitch somewhere. Ripped back a few more rows, found the stupid stitch, and FINALLY was ready to get going. Friday morning, I knit 2 inches and was back to where I started this whole mess.
ugh.
My goal is to have the body DONE by next Sunday, leaving me the final week to work the arms and bring it all together.
Hope to post an update on Wednesday!
I hope you reached your goal on the body.....ripping things back is scary ground, I normally rip things back only to find I make a worse mistake, but I am getting better ....I think!
ReplyDeleteOh I hope you manage to finish it for March, although I do remember the joys of ripping back on knitting projects.
ReplyDeleteI hate it when that happens! Good luck with you rgoal though, you can do it!
ReplyDeleteOh gosh, sorry about all the ripping. I'd have put the project in time out, so good for you to go straight back to it!
ReplyDeleteKudos to you for frogging and frogging until you figured out where it went wrong and for correcting everything! You pat yourself on the back and treat yourself to somethin' delicious or wonderful.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your goal, sorry you had so many rip outs, I feel your pain big time for that. Fingers crossed for you.
ReplyDeleteOh what a lot of ripping! I hope it all goes perfectly from now on :)
ReplyDeleteLooking good so far! Sorry to hear about the ripping.
ReplyDeleteUgh, I hate when that happens! You can totally reach your goal though. I have faith in you!
