...Year of Projects: Week One...

I am very excited to be able to post an update on my Year of Projects a week after it started and am hoping to better at blogging about this (and other fun things, like my kid!) throughout the year.

There are a bunch of new people to the Year of Projects Group and I have enjoyed reading their lists. It has been fun to see some members from last year too. Many of us had the same idea: less specifics, more broad lists. Looking forward to seeing how we do!

If you read a week or so ago, I joined Project: Stash and others for the Miranda Hat KAL. I wanted my list to focus a little more on charity knitting this year and decided this was the best way to kick off my Year of Projects list!

The first Miranda Hat

I can see a few mistakes I made, but I really enjoyed this pattern and am looking forward to knitting up several more for the children's hospital.

I worked on my craft show knitting and I was able to finish one of my WIPs this week as well! My sister requested a hat to match her scarf and after almost a year, I finished the darn thing! I cannot post a picture because I am sure she will peek at this post! Here is the rav link tho! (I don't think she will be able to see it since she isn't on Rav?!)
