Year of Projects--Week 10

Wow this week FLEW by! I had good intentions of going back through everyone's posts from the week and making comments...and then today I realized it was time to update again! Sorry for not getting to commenting on all your wonderful progress!

...Short and Sweet Update...

If you remember, I said in last week's YOP post that I would fully dedicate myself to the first HP scarf I am working on. I've decided I really like knitting scarves in the round...

Managed to make some more progress on it but I so wish it was done! We had friends over this weekend and I worked on it while we played games (and it wasn't my turn). LOL! Planning on working on it more this week. I have also been working on A's Afghan and Vest (also YOP items)...check Tuesday's post for an update!

  1. Will you just block it flat then afterwards?
    Great colors against one another.

  2. The scarf looks great and will be really cozy and warm. Lots of knit stitch makes for good tv knitting

  3. Just love the prgress on the Gryffindor scarf... I've started the Slytherin scarf and am just ready for its first colour change. I love knitting it in the round too and when watching tv its so easy to knit and stitch away. Looking forward to seeing more of it.

  4. Yes, I can understand that you would wish it was done - I think that's the toughest thing about scarves, finishing them! LOL!

The colours look perfect in your picture!

  5. Lovely scarf! Just to show my ignorance, how come you knit in the round, is it like a tube shape then......I am probably totally missing the point.......I have done very little knitting and certainly nothing complicated
